Eco Skills Challenge

Eiffage has solidified its reputation as a group committed to biodiversity through the Eco Skills challenge for students by involving student communities in its worldwide and collective programme to advance the ecological transition. Bringing in students is crucial because they are our future employees.

What is the purpose of the Eco Skills Challenge?

The Eco Skills Challenge, is an opportunity to raise awareness on university campuses concerning the key ecological transition and biodiversity priorities and also the scope for action and solutions open to a construction sector company.

Another aim is to extend to student communities efforts to garner the collective intelligence that Eiffage has mobilised over a number of years in pursuit of sustainable development together with its customers, partners and suppliers.

Students are given 4 themes to develop :

  • Biodiversity
  • Low carbon
  • Water & aquatic environments
  • Circular economy

How is the challenge organised?

Each year, this challenge is open to all students over the age of 18. All universities and schools in France and abroad may enter.

It takes place in three stages:

  1. Ideation (November to March): Form a team of 2 to 5 participants and register on the Agorize platform to validate your application.

  2. Refinement (March to May): up to 10 projects are selected to take part in the final. The teams are then assigned an Eiffage sponsor to develop and formalise their idea.

  3. Final (May): the 10 finalist teams are invited to Paris and trained in the art of the pitch so that they can defend their project in front of an exceptional jury.
